Practice Policies & Fees

Dr. Trigg is "out of network" for all insurance companies and does not submit bills to any insurance companies, including Medicare. If requested, a super bill will be provided to you that you can submit to your health insurance if you have "out of network" benefits.

I have “opted out” of Medicare and super bills for my services CANNOT be submitted to Medicare, though some secondary insurance companies may reimburse you for some of my fees.

Payment for services in office or via telemedicine is due prior to your appointment unless you contact me to negotiate this prior to your visit. I do not want you to delay care that you need because of finances, but you must discuss this with me prior to our appointment so that we can negotiate payment arrangements.

For telemedicine & office visits I will send an invoice to your email prior to your scheduled appointment with me.

There are no refunds for any reason.

If visits go short or long on occasion but not consistently, no fees will be adjusted. If you have a preference ahead of time for length of visits, please discuss with me. Travel fees for home visits are also $350/hour. Please speak to me directly for an estimate of your exact rate for travel fees based on your geographic area.

Time that I spend on your care between visits is tracked & billed at the rate of $350.00 per hour (including phone calls, texts, emails, or filling out forms for medication prior authorizations). Occasional minimal time (i.e. 1-2 minutes total between appointments) is often comped.

Payment for Services

Payment is due at time of service. When you schedule your first visit, I will send you an email requesting that you place your payment information in the “card vault” with my merchant processor which includes a link to the card vault.

I will send you an invoice via email prior to each appointment which contains a link to my merchant processor which will allow you to pay. You may pay each invoice using that link or instruct me to charge your payment method on file in the card vault. At the end of each month, I use the vaulted payment information to bring all accounts current to zero balance, unless you have contacted me to set up a short term payment plan.

I am not paneled with any insurance companies and I do not bill any insurance companies, including Medicare. If requested, I will provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for out of network provider service benefits. Please ask at the time of scheduling.

Super bills for my services CANNOT be submitted to Medicare.
